  Looking for an Alternative for Microsoft Office
 
 

Hey, I know how you feel! You don't want to spend $200-$500 for Microsoft Office - but it is almost the software package of choice for everything, including the materials on AgentBrokerSuccess.com and RookieSuccess.com. This is like buying Office Premium, Adobe Acrobat and other add-ins but saving $1,000!
Again - this is my choice: Easy Office Premium

3) The $69.95 Option - Produced by Sun Microsystems (probably because CEO Scott McNealy doesn't like Bill Gates, but that's a whole different conversation!) StarOffice is designed to go head to head with Microsoft Office.   Need a Free substitute for Adobe Acrobat?
 
 

PDF files are the gold standard for making files that can be read on almost any computer. PDF files are terrific for displaying floor plans, contracts and many other real estate information on your web site - or for sending that information to a prospect, client or customer. The reason is that over 90% of all new computers have Adobe Acrobat Reader pre-installed.

You, as a professional real estate agent, should use PDF for many different applications and to provide information to your prospects and clients. The challenge is that we are talking about $199-299 for the Full Version of Adobe Acrobat (I'm not talking about the free Reader software - I'm talking about the software that MAKES those PDF files).

  How Do I Combine All IM Services Into 1 Control Panel?

  Listing Presentation vs. Marketing Consultation
 
 

Are you a "Listing Agent" or a "Marketing Agent?" Think about that question for a moment and answer truthfully. Do you do the same thing that most other agents do - get a listing agreement signed and enter it into the MLS... then hope and pray that it sells! If you do, you're not alone - the problem is that you are doing a disservice to your clients and customers.

In today's world of discount brokers and fee for service models - you need to be a true professional to set yourself apart and compete with the competition. If you cannot justify your fees, then you will not be in the business long.. or worse yet - you will not make the money that you could.

1) Do you actively solicit buyers for your listings;

  Not Tech Savvy... Need Some Help?
 
 

I always get the question or statement: "there all these things to do with the computer or web, I'm not tech savvy - what do I do?"
